Diana Gonçalves

I’m Diana Gonçalves, born and raised in Lisbon, but since 2015 I have been living and working abroad. 2 years ago I enrolled in a post-graduation in Project Management in Healthcare and got the IPMA level D certification.

Where do you work?
I work in Rotterdam for an international organization in the Benelux area as Innovation Lead.

Why are you participating GeCCo 2022?
GeCCo is a great opportunity to connect with several people in different parts of the world, but also to challenge me in the Project Management environment.

What is your favorite thing about projects?
What I like most in projects is learning about the topic the project is being developed on and the impact it will create in terms of creating better health for citizens.

Pouya Golzadeh

Where do you work?
I was working as a project coordinator in my own country, Iran. I now work as a freelancer since I have recently moved to The Netherlands.

Why are you participating GeCCo 2022?
First, it is a unique opportunity to put my project management knowledge into practice. Also, I can get to know new people and will have a chance to learn at an international event.

What is your favorite project you ever worked on and why?
I had been involved as a project control expert in constructing a desalination plant in Bandar Abbas, located in the south of Iran. That was my first experience in an international and complex project. My major responsibility in this project was project control and design management in providing engineering services. It is my favorite project because of being multidisciplinary, and I could work with many stakeholders. Also, it was an infrastructural project and pursued sustainable development goals.

Where do you study?
I study pursuing Construction Management and Engineering at TU Delft.

Why are you participating GeCCo 2022?
To get international exposure to virtual collaboration and also learn more about project management.

What is your favorite project you ever worked on and why?
It was an academic course called collaboration in complex project environments where 25 multidisciplinary students collaborated on a multifaceted project aiming to sustain the Oosterschilde barrier in the Netherlands. It taught me about how work-based interdependencies play a huge role in individual and group performance.

Milan Mihajlovic

Where do you work?
I work at Janssen Biologics.

Why are you participating GeCCo 2022?
I am looking forward to the opportunity to communicate and learn from other young project managers, about their approach to leading a project. To share the experience and together with my team try to manage our project in one unique way, combining all our strengths and knowledge.

What is your favorite project you ever worked on and why?
I am currently working on the Horizon project in my company. What excites me, is that it is complex and that it consists of a larger number of key steps and multiple areas (departments, production sites, countries) to be connected and aligned for the successful execution of the project.
